Transition to Virtual Distant Learning

Transitioning to online learning models can be intimidating. Schools may have questions on how to implement distant learning and what is the best tools and features to be effective. As technology grows rapidly and the world becomes more fast-paced, the convenience and the need for online learning grows as well. After the COVID-19 pandemic, many schools were forced to quickly conclude to distant learning methods with limited time and lack of staff support. At El Paseo Children’s Center (EPCC), we provide online learning specialists who help guide school sites to not only provide distant learning that applies to their curriculum and courses, but the how-to providing virtual supports in the area of Special Education, with virtual services, accommodations, online assessments, IEP meetings, and other IEP factors.
